Leaving your child in someone else’s care can be an anxious situation. Trust the David Foster Academy caregivers to keep your child safe and keep you informed and connected each and every day.  For toddlers, every interaction and movement matters. At the David Foster Academy, we balance nurturing care with fundamental properties of learning in a comfortable environment designed to foster development for each child.

Pre-School Program

The David Foster Pre-School program focuses on teaching children important social, mental, and physical developmental skills. We also guide them towards cognitive development, building their motor skills, and communicating effectively.  The curriculum is based on the Department of Education’s Common Case Standards.

The Pre-School Program also contains the Pre-K for All Program. This is a free program for 4-year-old children under the guidance of the Department of Education. It teaches students critical problem-solving skills and improves their vocabulary skills. The program officially commences in September 2021.

The hours of this program range from 7:30 am to 6 pm.

Afterschool Program

The David Foster Afterschool Program enrolls children from ages 5 -12. The program focuses on homework study, extra assistance in various subject areas as well as extra-curricular activities such as drama, music, computer lessons, poetry, etc. The program helps children to develop leadership abilities as well as social skills through participation in organized activities. Virtual classes are also available upon request through our Afterschool Program.
